Replit, the AI-powered coding platform at the forefront of the so-called vibe coding movement, has closed a four hundred million dollar Series D funding round at a nine billion dollar valuation, tripling from three billion dollars just six months ago. The round was led by Georgian Partners, a Toronto-based venture firm, with participation from heavyweight investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Coatue, Craft Ventures, and Y Combinator.

Agent 4 Changes the Game

Alongside the funding announcement, Replit unveiled Agent 4, its latest and most powerful AI development tool. The company says Agent 4 is ten times faster than its predecessor and introduces a creative canvas interface that lets users move fluidly from concept to working software. Multiple AI agents can now work in parallel across a project, handling tasks simultaneously while keeping human creativity at the centre. Use cases span landing pages, mobile apps, pitch decks, and full SaaS tools.

From Niche Tool to Enterprise Powerhouse

Replit's growth trajectory has been extraordinary. The platform's annualised revenue was just two point eight million dollars before the launch of its first AI agent, surging to one hundred and fifty million dollars by September twenty twenty-five and reaching two hundred and forty million dollars by late that year. The company is now targeting one billion dollars in annual recurring revenue by the end of twenty twenty-six.

The platform serves more than fifty million users, with employees at eighty-five percent of Fortune five hundred companies building on Replit. Enterprise clients include Atlassian, PayPal, Zillow, and Adobe. The funding round also attracted notable angel investors including Shaquille O'Neal and Jared Leto, alongside strategic backers such as the Qatar Investment Authority.
