Foxconn, the world's largest contract electronics manufacturer and key NVIDIA partner, posted a 35.5% surge in January 2026 revenue to approximately 23 billion dollars, driven by robust demand for AI server infrastructure from hyperscale cloud providers.

Record-Breaking Start to 2026

Foxconn, officially known as Hon Hai Precision Industry, has reported a stunning 35.5 percent year-on-year increase in January 2026 revenue, reaching 730 billion New Taiwan dollars (approximately 23 billion US dollars). The Taiwan-based electronics giant continues to ride the wave of artificial intelligence infrastructure demand, with its cloud and networking products division now accounting for 42 percent of total sales.

AI Infrastructure Drives Growth

The company's AI server manufacturing business has emerged as its primary growth engine, benefiting from billions in investment from hyperscale cloud providers including Amazon, Microsoft, and Google's parent company Alphabet. Foxconn now produces nearly 1,000 AI server racks per week and holds more than 40 percent market share across major AI platforms.

These results follow a record-breaking fourth quarter of 2025, during which sales climbed 22 percent to 2.6 trillion New Taiwan dollars. For the full year 2025, Foxconn achieved annual sales exceeding 8 trillion New Taiwan dollars for the first time, an 18 percent increase from the prior year.

Strong Outlook Despite Seasonal Headwinds

Despite the first quarter traditionally being an off-season for information and communications technology products, Foxconn expects performance to be near the upper end of the past five-year range. Analysts project approximately 28 percent sales growth for the quarter ending March 2026.

The company continues to deepen its partnership with NVIDIA through a 1.4 billion dollar supercomputing centre being developed in Taiwan, expected to complete in the first half of 2026. Foxconn Chairman Young Liu has described AI development as being just at the beginning, expressing strong optimism about AI-driven demand throughout 2026.
