Nvidia has dramatically expanded its presence in European tech, participating in fourteen funding rounds worth more than five and a half billion dollars during 2025. The largest European investment came through French AI startup Mistral AI, which raised one point seven billion euros in September at a valuation of approximately thirteen point six billion dollars. The Investment Push Continues Into 2026
The European investment spree has continued this year. British AI video company Synthesia announced a two hundred million dollar Series E round on Monday, led by Google Ventures with Nvidia's NVentures participating. Beyond capital investment, Nvidia is working with France, the UK, Germany and Italy to build sovereign AI infrastructure. In France, Mistral AI is collaborating with Nvidia to build a cloud platform powered by eighteen thousand Grace Blackwell systems, with plans to expand across multiple sites in 2026.
