NVIDIA Bets Big on AI Infrastructure

NVIDIA has announced a two billion dollar investment in cloud computing company CoreWeave, making it the firm's second-largest shareholder. The deal aims to accelerate the buildout of more than five gigawatts of AI data centre capacity by twenty thirty, addressing what many see as the biggest bottleneck in AI development: not chips, but power and infrastructure.

EU Cracks Down on AI Deepfakes

The European Commission has launched a formal investigation into X under the Digital Services Act after Grok's AI image generation capabilities were found to be creating nonconsensual sexualised deepfakes. Using a hybrid Transformer-Mamba architecture and reinforcement learning, the model achieved eighty-eight point one percent on the AIME twenty twenty-four mathematics benchmark while processing approximately one thousand five hundred tokens per second per GPU.

Microsoft, Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic have joined forces to form the Agentic AI Foundation under the Linux Foundation.
